Bangkok trip without the kids

Debbie had a few assignments in Bangkok and now with Ah Ma taking care of the 2, so she suggested I go with her to keep her company. Ah what the heck I still have leave anyway and no additional hassle form the kids so off we went. The fare was quite ok abt 480. Then checked in direct to Somerset-Suan Plu, Sathorn from airport using the public taxi. Then walked along the streets to look for makan and stuffs actually quite a lot. Then took another taxi to Central Rama for lunch at the foodcourt. Managed to find a True telco service to find out how to make calls cheaper 00600 and check balance #123#. Luckily my SIM card still can use and I sent SMS back to Ah Ma and Ah Kung , just in case got emergency. Shop till late at Tesco Lotus by walking across from Central Rama, then had dinner before taking taxi back to hotel.

Day 2 , had breakfast and start journey by walking across to main road at Naradhiwas then onwards till I reach Lumpini Park. Then walked along Silom Rd tried to find a loo but too early the shopping malls not opened yet. Finally got to a place paid 5B den walked along Silom Rd till I reached Patpong ,nothing to see becoz its 10am in the morning. Later got harassed by ppl around me to visit those expensive center that fleece yr money ao they could collect some coupon/commission I dont care much as I only need to pay 20B for tuk tuk and I did for 3 more times for 3 more hrs. Finally took an aircond taxi to come back costs 100B.

Bangkok trip

This was an assignment to oversee a project in Bangkok. So in the mean time had some time to kill. Had a tour around mostly to accompany my colleague go shopping around Bangkok. Bangkok is really a shopping paradise esp. for women as you will lots and lots of clothes , Had walked till my legs want to "patah" finally took a cab to Platinum Mall where we scoped the entire mall for every levels just to find , what else but clothes.
